Background

According to PT Pertamina Gas, the subsidiary of PGN Persero that will operate the pipeline, construction was 84% complete as of August 2017. In January 2019 the head of PT Pertamina stated that the company planned to complete the pipeline in 2019. In October 2019 Pertamina announced that the pipeline was 98.5% complete.
