Background

Gulf Crossing Pipeline is an interstate natural gas pipeline fed from the Barnett Shale in Texas and the Caney/Woodford Shale in Oklahoma. It begins near Sherman, Texas extending to the Perryville, Louisiana area. The Gulf Crossing system is composed of approximately 375 miles of pipeline having an average daily throughput of approximately 1.1 billion cubic feet per day in 2016. Gulf Crossing interconnects with Gulf South Pipeline's Tallulah Compressor Station in Madison Parish, LA. It also has leased capacity on the Oklahoma intrastate system of Enogex, and on Gulf South from Tallulah to an interconnect with Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line's Station 85 in Choctaw County, AL, located at the terminus of Gulf South's 116-mile Southeast Expansion.
