Biographical Information
"Hans-Olov Olsson is the Vice Chairman of Volvo Car Corporation and Chairman, Chalmers Tekniska Högskola, Senior Industrial Advisor of NM Rothschild Nordic and Board Member, HMK Foundation of Young Leadership.
"Hans-Olov Olsson was born in 1941 and received his Master of Political Science from the University of Gothenburg and honerable Doctor in Economy EDhc, at the same university.
"He joined Volvo in 1966 had several executive positions within Volvo, both in Sweden and abroad in USA, Europe, Japan where was the CEO and Chairman. He was Sr. Vice President of Ford Motor Company and its Chief Marketing Officer. Hans-Olov Olsson has also been a Board Member at several major companies in Sweden like SKF AB, Elanders Int. AB, Lindab Int. AB, Vattenfall AB, Höganäs AB."[1]
