The pipeline runs from Hassi R'Mel gas field, near Hassi R'Mel, Laghouat province, to Arzew, Oran province, Algeria.

Background
The pipeline is actually two 24-inch pipelines. The first, LZ1, was completed in 1983; the second, LZ2, was completed in 2009.[1][2]
