Biographical Information
"Hazel is the Executive Director of the British Ecological Society, a membership organisation which fosters the science of ecology. She works with the BES trustees to provide strategic vision and leadership for the organisation. Before joining the staff of the BES, she worked for the Parkinson Disease Society and completed a PhD in ecology at Manchester University in 1992. She is also a trustee of St Georges Hospital Charity which raises money for one of London’s leading teaching hospitals."[1]
