Biographical Information
"Ian is an Advisor and Board Member at Stonehaven, specialising in Real Estate and Board level appointments. Ian was previously the Chief Executive of SEGRO plc (formerly Slough Estates plc) from 2003 to 2011. He was a Director from 1988 to 2002 of J Sainsbury plc and he had responsibility for a number of the key operational parts of the Group as well as all Real Estate, Construction and related activities within the Group. He previously held Board and Senior Management positions at Ladbrokes, Texas Homecare and Cavenham Foods.
"Ian was President of the British Property Federation (BPF) from June 2005 to July 2006 and is a former chairman of the BPF REITs task force. Ian was until recently an EPRA Board member. He was a non-executive director of House of Fraser Plc from 2003-2006 and sits on the London Regional Board of Royal & Sun Alliance. Ian was appointed a member of the Government’s Sustainable Construction Task Group in 2003 and was Chairman of the London Sustainable Development Commission.
