The International Cultural Foundation was founded in 1968 by Sun Myung Moon.

International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences

• F.A. Hayek gave the plenary address to the 12th International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences meeting held in Chicago (November 1983) [1] The organzing chair for this meeting was Morton Kaplan and the vice chair was Alvin Weinberg.

Note that in 1984 "A political arm of the Rev. Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church has contributed $500,000 to finance a new anticommunist lobbying campaign headed by John "Terry" Dolan, chairman of the National Conservative Political Action Committee (NCPAC)." [2]
