The Ishikawa power station is a 312-megawatt coal-fired power station in Ishinomaki, Kyūshū, Japan.

Background

The Ishikawa power station comprises two 156 MW units which were commissioned in November 1986 and March 1987 respectively. It is owned and operated by J-POWER, the trading name for the Electric Power Development Co.[1][2]
