Jamestown Board of Public Utilities states on its website that it aims "to provide environmentally sound, efficient, cost effective electric, water, solid waste, wastewater and district heating utility services while actively encouraging the economic growth and development of its community."[1]
The board is one of the main proponents of a proposed clean coal demonstration project in Jamestown.[2]
