Biographical Information
"Jessica is Director of The Prince's Accounting for Sustainability Project (A4S). A4S was established by The Prince of Wales in 2004 to “help ensure that we are not battling to meet 21st Century problems with what are, at best, 20th Century decision-making and reporting systems”. Recent activities include work to improve disclosure on environmental, social and governance issues and to integrate these issues into the international financial reporting framework. She is co-editor of a book comprising case studies on ‘connected reporting’ and ‘connected thinking’ by leading academics published in June 2010, “Accounting for Sustainability: Practical Insights”, recently listed by the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership in its Top 40 books of 2010. Jessica is a member of the UK Treasury’s Sustainability Reporting Steering Committee and of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy’s Sustainability Committee.
"In 2010, A4S established the International Integrated Reporting Committee (IIRC) in collaboration with the Global Reporting Initiative and the International Federation of Accountants. Jessica is Director the IIRC and sits on its Working Group. She is on secondment to the project from PricewaterhouseCoopers where she has worked with a wide range of companies, governments, investors and not-for-profit organisations to help them integrate sustainability into core business processes and activities. Jessica is a chartered accountant, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, has an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge. " [1]
