John Michael Chambers is a Clearwater, Florida-based radio talk show host and financial planner who founded the Save America Foundation. He also has a financial planning business in Clearwater. His Web site says he is also a public speaker, a "patriot," a "mentor," a songwriter and a published author.[1] Through the Save America Foundation," Chambers puts on "Constitutional Conventions" that encourage people to "take action." His Web site does not specify what the action is, but makes clear that he believes the government is running afoul of the U.S. Constitution.[2][3]
Chambers claims that the health care reform act signed into law by President Obama in 2010 is against the constitution. The Save America Foundation supports Tea Party groups and 9/12 groups, groups formed by conservative Fox News host Glenn Beck. [4]
