John W. Ford is a state legislator in Oklahoma. He is a Republican who represents District 29 in the State Senate. He worked for ConocoPhillips for 34 years before being elected to Oklahoma's Legislature. Ford is also the Assistant Majority Floor Leader and serves on the following committees: Select Committee on Pensions, Appropriations, Appropriation Subcommittee on Education - Vice Chair, Business and Commerce, Education (Chair), Finance and Rules.[1]

Ford is the Oklahoma State Chairman of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) as of 2011.[2]
