A biographical note states that she has "previously worked for Commonwealth and State public sector agencies, including the Commonwealth Treasury and Productivity Commission, and was previously economic advisor to the Queensland Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Julie has written over a dozen papers, articles and opinion pieces on issues ranging from social services reform to the philosophy of Friedrich Hayek."[1]
