Kütahya Domaniç power station

Location
The map below shows the location of Domaniç district, the location where the plant would be built in Kütahya province. The plant will apparently be built near the town of Tunçbilek, which is already home to the Tunçbilek Kütahya power station and the Polat power station. (Tunçbilek is in the neighboring Tavşanlı district, so the Kütahya Domaniç plant would presumably be built in a part of Domaniç district near Tunçbilek.)
Background on Plant
In March 2013, Turkiye Komur lsletmesi Kurumu (TKI), the Turkish government-owned coal mining company, held an auction for the construction of a 300-MW mine-to-mouth coal-fired power plant to be built adjacent to the Kütahya-Domaniç lignite coal field (which has 115 million tons of reserves). The bidding was won by Çelikler Holding.[1][2][3]
As of June 2019 the project's EIA had been cancelled and the project had been removed from its sponsor's website.[4] It appears to be shelved.
