Kaliningrad FSRU is a floating LNG import, storage, and regasification terminal in Kaliningrad, Russia. The name of the vessel is the Marshal Vasilevsky FSRU.

Location

The terminal is located in the Baltic Sea 5km north of Priboy, Russia. Satellite photography from Planet shows the breakwater where the FSRU is moored.

Background

Gazprom is constructing an LNG import, storage and regasification terminal on the coast of the Baltic Sea. The terminal will be able to receive up to 2.7 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The FLNG terminal will be connected to existing gas pipeline.[1]

It is planned to be operational in late 2017.[2]

The terminal was inaugurated in January 2019.[3] It is moored at a breakwater that is 5km north of Priboy, Russia, and is connected to the mainland by a pipeline.[4]
