In January 2017 Hyundai Heavy Industries won a US$563 million contract to build the FSRU. The project will include a LNG plant at Karawar. The FSRU is expected to be completed by late-2018.[1]
As of March 2019 there has been no further news about the project and it appears to be shelved.
