Biographical Information
Dr Katherine Rake OBE is the chief executive of Healthwatch England. She joined Healthwatch England from the Family and Parenting Institute where she was Chief Executive. [1] "She was previously chief executive of the Fawcett Society and lecturer in Social Policy at the London School of Economics, during which time she was seconded to the Cabinet Office.
"Katherine has advised the Prime Minister's Policy Unit, HM Treasury and other Government departments and is a regular broadcaster and contributor to a wide range of print media. In 2008, Katherine was awarded an OBE for services to equal opportunities and given an Institute of Directors 'Good Director' Honour. " [2]
