Kathleen B. deBettencourt

Kathleen Bajorek deBettencourt was Executive Director of the Environmental Literacy Council. She died of cancer at age 51 in December 2004.[1]
She had a BA from the University of Dallas in Texas, and a PhD in political theory fom the Catholic University of America.[1]
Before the ELC's founding, she was Project Director of its predecessor, the Marshall Institute's Independent Commission on Environmental Education[1].
