Biographical Information
"Keith founded Lawson-West Solicitors which grew into a five- branch legal firm plus two estate agencies employing a staff of 65. In 2003, Lawson-West won the Leicestershire Business Award for Success through People, and came second place in the overall Business of the Year category. Keith has worked as a volunteer in the homeless sector for 25 years and is a trustee of the biggest charity provider of hostels in Leicester, Action Homeless. He is also a lay preacher and an advocate for the charity CompassionUK, taking and creating opportunities to introduce potential sponsors and donors to the charity."[1] From 2011: "Keith recently retired early from his law firm to devote more time to both church and homelessness issues. His involvement with homelessness dates back 25 years initially working in Christmas shelters and then as part of The Salvation Army's soup run. Keith is also Chairman of The Bridge, a charity that focuses on the needs of rough sleepers."[2]
