Background

NST Express (“NSTX”) is a bi-directional pipeline between Alexander, ND and East Fairview, ND. It connects crude oil volumes to the Dakota Access Oil Pipeline (DAPL) and to rail transportation infrastructure. The pipeline was commissioned in 2016 by Northstar Midstream, with an initial capacity of 40,000 barrels per day and expandable capacity up to 100,000 barrels per day.[1]
