National Science Board is the governing board of the National Science Foundation (NSF), an independent Federal agency established by the National Science Foundation Act of 1950 to: [1]

  • promote the progress of science,
  • advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare, and
  • secure the national defense.

Note that the National Science Foundation website does not provide links to special reports or programs specific to climate change or global warming.
