New Page Books
"On March 22, 2000, Ron Fry, President and founder of Career Press announced the creation of a new general nonfiction imprint called New Page Books. “We felt for many seasons," said Mr. Fry, "that we had outgrown our name, particularly as we published wedding planners or health books, or other categories not ordinarily associated with a publisher like Career Press. Of course, Career Press has established a name for itself these past 18 years; we didn't want to lose that. We believe New Page Books will bring some of our important new lines to an even wider audience."
"New Page Books launched its first list in Fall 2000. Prominent categories for the imprint include Mind/Body/Spirit, Self-Help, Science, History, Paranormal, New Thought, UFO, Ancient Mysteries, and Health titles. We promote the phrase "Expect Something Different" and try to meet those standards with every new season of books. "[1]
Red Wheel/Weiser acquired Career Press in 2017.
