The Niger Benin Oil Pipeline is a proposed pipeline from Niger to Benin.[1]

Location

The pipeline runs from the Agadem oil field in Niger, through southwest of Niamey, Niger, and ends at the Port of Seme Terminal in Benin.[2]

Background

The 1,980-kilometres pipeline will start from the Agadem oil field in neighbouring Niger and end at the port of Seme Terminal in Benin, aiming to help Niger to export its crude oil. The China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC) signed a contract with the government of Benin to build and operate the crude oil pipeline in August of 2019.[1]
