Olive Downs East coal project is a coal prospect in the Bowen Basin in Queensland held by Queensland Coal Corporation, a privately-owned coal company. The prospect is estimated to have 1.6 billion tonnes in total reserves of hard coking coal and "PCI" coal suitable for Pulverised Coal Injection in blast furnaces for steelmaking. The deposit would be mined via an underground mine.[1]
