Oman Main Line–Ras Markaz oil pipeline is a proposed oil pipeline, running from the Oman Main Oil Line to Ras Markaz Oil Storage Terminal, Oman.

Location

The pipeline would run from the Oman Main Oil Line, near Nahdah, Ad Dakhiliyah governorate, to Ras Markaz Oil Storage Terminal, 70 km south of Duqm, Al Wusta governorate, Oman.

Background

Oman Tank Terminal Company (OTTCO) (which is co-owned by Oman Oil Company and Takamul Investment Company, a subsidiary of Oman Oil Company) is currently developing a project to build the Ras Markaz Oil Storage Terminal, oil storage facility and port near Duqm, as well as a 440-kilometer pipeline from the Oman Main Oil Line to the terminal. In August 2016, OTTCO shortlisted 11 bidders for the construction of the terminal.
