Biography
Until 1993, Patricia H. Werhane was the Henry J. Wirtenberger Professor of Business Ethics at Loyola University of Chicago. She received her BA from Wellesley College, and MA and Ph.D. Philosophy from Northwestern University. She joined the faculty at Loyola in 1975 after teaching at the American College of Switzerland. At the Darden School, Professor Werhane teaches Business Ethics, Strategic Human Resource Management, and Business Ethics in Literature. Her mother was a smoker and died of lung cancer.
