Port of Ust-Luga

Background

The Rosterminalugol terminal has 2 berths of 240 m in length. The terminal is also equipped for cleaning coal from metal admixtures.

The other terminal at Port of Ust-Luga is called the Multipurpose Reloading Complex. This terminal has 1 berth of 350 m in length and is used as a facility for handling coal. Coal is exported to the UK and Scandinavian countries.

In 2014, coal exports via the terminal rose 5% from 2013, to 15.45 million tonnes.
