Background

The power station has been proposed by Arrissan Power. The Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) states that the project was approved by the Bihar State Investment Board in May 2010. BSEB states that an application has been made to the Bihar Water Resources Department for a water allocation. [1]

AS of 2014 the project has not received environmental clearance, and may have been cancelled.
