{{#badges: ToxicSludge}} Fluoranthene is a chemical belonging to a group of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are multi-ringed aromatic compounds frequently found in coal, tar, cigarette smoke and barbecue meat. PAHs have also been found in sewage sludge. Some of these compounds are known carcinogens.[1]
