Background

Qidong LNG Terminal (广汇能源启东LNG接收站转运站) is an LNG import terminal in Jiangsu, China.[1] The terminal received its first shipment on 4 June 2017.[2] In November 2018 an additional 160,000 m3 storage tank was commissioned, raising the terminal's capacity to 1.15 mtpa.[3] A further expansion that would raise capacity to 3 mtpa is under construction and scheduled for completion in 2020.[3]
