Biographical Information
Is a board member of the Harry and Grace Steele Foundation, "Despite their aversion to the public eye, however, the Steeles gave away more than $70 million dollars between 1953 and 1991. The foundation was the single largest donor during that time to IPAS, the International Projects Assistance Services, an international family planning group, and was a major supporter of PPFA. According to Richard Steele, lack of access to family planning and the resultant population problems were "the root of all evil.” [1]
