Biographical Information

"Rob Moffett is based in Windhoek where he is responsible for marketing Wilderness Safaris Namibia. He also finds time for pro bono work including the Namibia Protected Areas Network Steering Committee, is a Trustee of Save The Rhino Trust, serves on the Namibia Tourism Board Marketing Advisory Committee and the Tour and Safari Association of Namibia, of which he is the immediate past-chairman.

"Prior to this, Rob worked for Wilderness Safaris in Botswana from 1990. Deciding that Namibia offered terrific conservation opportunities he moved here in 2002 where he started as the concession manager for Ongava Game Reserve and Group Marketing Manager up to 2007. During this time he also completed an MBA, his Master's dissertation titled "An approach to the Sustainable Development of the Kunene Region: An exploratory case study of Community Based Natural Resource Management"."
