Background

The Saddlehorn pipeline transfers crude from the Denver-Julesburg Basin in Colorado. It runs from Carr, Colorado to Platteville, Colorado, where it links up with the Grand Mesa Oil Pipeline, which runs to Cushing, Oklahoma. Its owners are Magellan Midstream Partners (40%), Plains All American Pipeline (40%), and Anadarko Petroleum (20%). It was completed in 2016.
