Background
Samcheok LNG began operations in June 2014 with completion of the first stage of construction. It is owned and operated by KOGAS. Construction began in October 2010. Samcheok has a nominal regasification capacity of 9 mtpa.[1][2] Construction was finished with the commissioning of three additional LNG storage tanks in June of 2017.[3]
