Scott Lasensky
Scott Lasensky is acting vice president and senior research associate in the Center for Conflict Analysis and Prevention.
He "focuses on issues relating to the Middle East and U.S. foreign policy toward the region. He has lectured and written extensively on the Arab-Israeli conflict and America’s role in the Middle East. He is also the director of USIP's Iraq and Its Neighbors project.
"Lasensky, an adjunct assistant professor of government at Georgetown University, has also been a visiting assistant professor of international relations at Mount Holyoke College and a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York and the Brookings Institution. He is a frequent commentator on BBC, CNN, Fox News, NPR, and other major media outlets, and has been published in Middle East Journal, Political Science Quarterly, Jerusalem Post, A-Sharq Al-Awsat, Beirut Daily Star, Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, and Middle East Review of International Affairs, among other publications. He is a recipient of the Yitzhak Rabin-Shimon Peres Peace Award from Tel Aviv University (1999).
