Singapore LNG Terminal is an LNG import terminal in West Region, Singapore. It is also known as the Jurong Island LNG Terminal.

Background

Singapore LNG Terminal is an LNG import terminal in West Region, Singapore. It is owned by Singapore LNG Corporation with capacity of 6 mtpa. It was commissioned in 2013.[1]

In August 2014 Singapore LNG announced that it was expanding the terminal's capacity from 6 mtpa to 11 mtpa. The expansion is planned for completion in 2018.[2]

Expansion Background

As of January 2018 the expansion to 11 mtpa was complete, and a further expansion was planned for late 2018, involving the construction of a fourth storage tank that would hold 260,000 cubic meters of gas.[3] In December 2018 it was reported that SLNG was considering building a fifth storage tank with 180,000-cbm to 260,000-cbm capacity and commencement date of 2022 or 2023.[4]
