Stand Together
Stand Together, formerly known as the Seminar Network and officially the Stand Together Foundation, is a Charles Koch founded "venture philanthropy" 501(c)(3) organization.[1] Although Freedom Partners invited reporter Fredreka Schouten to the 2016 winter donor summit to write an exclusive story on the establishment of Stand Together, no press release was posted on any of the Koch network sites announcing its start.[2]
On May 20, 2019, the Koch network announced that is was rebranding "the constellation of groups funded by the billionaire industrialist Charles Koch and around 700 like-minded conservatives and libertarians who contribute at least $100,000 annually" as Stand Together.[3]
Stand Together is led by the Seminar Network's Brian Hooks who will serve as Chairman and CEO.[3] Before taking on this role, Hooks served for eight years as executive director of the Koch-funded Mercatus Center at George Mason University was president of the Charles Koch Foundation in 2014.
Stand Together has a sister organization: Stand Together Chamber of Commerce.
