Biographical Information
"Sung-Hee Choi is an artist/art teacher, peace activist and key organizer within the Jeju naval base resistance. She works tirelessly in support of the cause of peace in and the division of Korea. Sung-Hee is a member of the board of directors at the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space. Her art and writing has inspired many to take up the Save Jeju Island cause. In the summer of 2011 she was imprisoned for her role in the Save Jeju Island effort and endured a long term hunger strike. " [1]
