Timothy D. Adams
Timothy D. Adams, of Virginia, the number three at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, departed service with the Bush administration in May 2007.[1]
Adams was appointed March 23, 2005, by President George W. Bush to be Under Secretary for International Affairs in the Department of the Treasury. His nomination was sent to the Senate April 6, 2005, and he was confirmed July 29, 2005.

Most recently, Adams served as Policy Advisor for Bush-Cheney '04 Inc. and served as Policy Director for the Bush-Cheney 2000 campaign. Additionally, Adams had served as Deputy Associate Director of the Office of Policy Development at the White House during President George H.W. Bush's administration.
