The Trongol coal mine is a coal mine near Curanilahue which is operated by Empresa Nacional del Carbon S.A. (ENACAR), a Chilean mining company. The produced approximately 100,000 tonnes in 2007 which is processed at a processing plant at Lota in Region VIII.[1]
