U.S.-Mexico Social Security Totalization Agreement

The U.S.-Mexico Social Security Totalization Agreement was signed in June 2004. If adopted by Congress, "it would grant millions of illegal aliens access" to the Social Security system. The agreement was not submitted to Congress. [1]
The United States has totalization agreements with a number of countries since 1978, including an agreement with Canada since August 1, 1984. [2]
