Vietnam Veterans Memorial

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, dedicated in 1982, is a black granite wall which "bears the names of more than 58,000 men and women who were killed or declared missing during the Vietnam War."[1]

Also referred to as The Wall, the Memorial is located at Bacon Drive and Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C. The Memorial, managed by the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior, is open to the public daily from 8 a.m. to midnight. It is only closed on December 25 of each year.
