{{#badges: tobaccowiki}} Watkins Abbitt was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates (I-59). He was formerly a Democrat, but quit the party as its political allegiances shifted. He is currently being challenged in the November, 2007 general election by Democrat Constance Brennan.
Abbitt takes most of his campaign funding from corporations and PACs, and in large donations. Under Virginia law, "small donations" are any donations under $100 in value. During the current cycle, Abbitt has received less than a sixth of a percent (0.15%) of his funding in the form of such contributions. See also: contributors by industry.
