Wendy Max is Associate Adjunct Professor of Medical Economics, Associate Director Institute for Health and Aging and located at University of California, San Francisco.(State of Florida's Proposed Plaintiff's Disclosure of Expert Witnesses, 2/5/97) She is an eminent economist who has numerous scientific, medical and economic contributions including, but not limited to: Surgeon General reports, National Center for Health Statistics, reports for the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Center for Disease Control, Tobacco Use Survey, the Behavioral Risk Factor Survey, Bureau for the Census, Current Population Survey. She has knowledge about the general and specific methodologies used to estimate costs of specific behaviors.
