Background
The proposed pipeline would be operated by Enbridge, and owned by Enbridge and BG Group.[1] The pipeline would have brought natural gas to the proposed Prince Rupert LNG facility.[2] The Prince Rupert LNG facility was canceled in March 2016, resulting in the cancellation of the Westcoast Connector.[3]
