Angola LNG Gas Pipeline System is a system of natural gas pipelines, transporting gas from offshore Blocks 0, 14, 15, 17, and 18 to the Angola LNG Terminal.

Location

The pipeline runs from Blocks 0, 14, 15, 17, and 18, in the offshore waters of Angola, to the Angola LNG Terminal in Soyo, Zaire province, Angola.

Background

The Angola LNG gas pipeline system carries natural gas to Angola LNG Terminal from several gas fields: Blocks 0/14 (Chevron), Block 15 (ExxonMobil), Block 17 (Total), and Block 18 (BP). The system is owned by Sonangol. Construction was done by Acergy and Spiecapag; construction began in 2009, and was completed in 2015. Angola LNG has plans to expand the pipeline system further in the future.
