"Colin Tudge was born in London in 1943; educated at Dulwich College, 1954-61; and read zoology at Peterhouse, Cambridge, 1962-65.
In 2009, CT and Ruth West (his wife) "launched their Campaign for Real Farming (www.campaignforrealfarming.org), which incorporates the College for Enlightened Agriculture. Then in January 2010, together with Graham Harvey, they organized the first Oxford Real Farming Conference, which now has become an annual event.
"Colin Tudge wrote for various magazines during the 1960s and '70s, including Farmer's Weekly and New Scientist.
"He was Features Editor of New Scientist, 1980-85, and worked as a presenter for BBC Radio 3 from 1985-1990 (particularly “Science on 3” and “Spectrum”, plus numerous documentaries from Europe, India, the United States, South Africa, Australia), and has been freelance since 1990.
