Biographical Information
"Karisia joined the Fund in March 2007. She has an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and an MA (Cantab) in English from Cambridge University. Prior to joining the Fund, Karisia worked in Uganda for the Refugee Law Project then UNICEF, doing writing and research on the conflict in northern Uganda.
"Karisia is a trustee of the Association of Charitable Foundations and chairs the ACF issue based network on asylum, refugees and migration. She sits on the capacity building committee for the European Foundation Centre and is a voluntary advisor to the African Prisons Project." [1]
