Right To Play is a Canadian organization that evolved out of an awareness and fundraising organization called Olympic Aid, which was conceived in 1992 by the Lillehammer Olympic Organizing Committee (LOOC) in preparation for the 1994 Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer, Norway. The group's mission is to improve the lives of children in disadvantaged areas of the world "by using the power of sport and play for development, health and peace." [1][2]
