Rotterdam Afvang en Opslag Demonstration is a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project proposed by E.ON, GDF Suez and Electrabel. The consortium is investigating a number of options. In what it describes as "phase 1" the consortium is considering a 2-5 million tonnes a year of carbon dioxide from the Maasvlakte Power Station (E.ON).[1]
